Meet Shona Caine
Mt. Castle helped me and my 3 children in March of 2015. My teenage son had been in a group home for 2 years. I needed help with managing his behaviors, find stable employment and housing. In March we were enrolled in their program, we moved into a 3 bedroom fully furnished home. I live there for a year and a half. Within this time I was able to have family structure. Mt. Castle helped me become certified as a Lead Daycare teacher and I found full time employment.
After my son's order ended, they helped me find my own place where I could continue to care for my children. Thank you Mt. Castle for all you've done for me and my family.

Meet Michaela E. Franklin
I was sixteen years old when I heard about Mt. Castle's Independent Living Program. Both of my parents passed away when I was young. I've been in foster care since I was 7 years old. I was tired of going from foster home to foster home, so I ask my social worker to find out more about this program and how I could be a part of it.
I moved into my own apartment through Mt. Castle on my seventeenth birthday. While I was there I learned the importance of budgeting, finding full time employment and most importantly I got my high school diploma after they pushed me daily to be my best.
I participated in the Work Experience Program at the end of my order. They help me with job vocational skills and becoming a Professional Caregiver. I was able to find full time employment to successfully support myself.
Mt. Castle was there for me like a parent would for their child. Now I can go on and continue to build my life for the better. I appreciated what they did for me.
